George was an Engineer in the Sacramento Fire Department. He worked at Station 1 until he retired. He found the old fireman's plot in the Old Sacramento City Cemetery and was instrumental in restoring it to its present condition. When he passed he was honored by burial in the fireman’s plot. His wife rest there also.
