A memorial funeral service for B. Wayne Zimmerman, 68, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, 3261 S. Avenue 6E. Alan Dyson of Yuma and Ethan Halliday of Scottsdale will co-officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley , attention Sherman House, Phoenix.
Born Dec. 12, 1944, in French Camp, Calif., he died Oct. 5, 2013, in Phoenix. He was a retired patrol sergeant for the Department of Public Safety and veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Desert Valley Mortuary and Crematory is handling arrangements, including private cremation.
