Her baptism record states she was born July 31, 1823. The published Ely Ancestry has it as March 7, 1825. , 1825. Her grave marker has July 31, 1825. Given that two of these have July 31 I take that as the correct date. As for the year, she was baptised December 1826, a year and a half after her birth if the year 1825 is correct. She would have been three and a half if born July 1823. Records show her sister Helen was baptised at about four months, so waiting till three and a half for Susan seems unlikely all things considered.
