SIEBER-John Sieber, 71, of Tonawanda unexpectedly Wednesday (Jan. 6, 1975) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in Germany, he had been a resident of Tonawanda for 68 years and was the husband of Elsie M. Sieber, who died in October 1974. Mr. Sieber was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church and had been employed at Spaulding Fibre Corp. for 43 years, retiring in 1971.
He is survived by a son, Harold (Helen) Walters; three grandchildren, John, Cynthia and Elaine Walters; a brother, George J. Sieber, two sisters, Mrs. William (Helen) Haas and Mrs. Elmer (Ann) Harmon, all of Tonawanda.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Friday at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Ronald R. Keaton. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Broad Street Baptist Church.
