A memorial Mass for Wendy Ann King of Loganville, Ga., a former Town of Tonawanda resident, will be offered at noon Jan. 11 in St. Amelia's Catholic Church, 2999 Eggert Road, Town of Tonawanda.
Ms. King died Dec. 15, 2002, in her home after a five-year battle with cancer. She was 41.
Born Wendy Ann Hubert in Buffalo, she grew up in the Town of Tonawanda and attended Brighton Elementary School and Benjamin Franklin Middle School. She moved to the Atlanta area with her parents when she was 15.
She worked for Insure America in Atlanta in customer service until she retired because of illness six months ago.
Surviving are a son, Donald "Scott," and a daughter, Jennifer, both of Loganville; her parents, Donald and Jeanine Hubert of Lilburn, Ga.; a sister, Dawne Marie Childress of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a grandfather, Frank S. Vaccaro of Kenmore; and her boyfriend, Mark Ludick of Snellville, Ga.
