Walter Scott Fitz Jr died at Nashua Memorial Hospital in Nashua, NH on June 12, 1991 after a long illness. She was born on January 1, 1913 in Seattle, WA; the son of Walter Scott Sr and Charlotte DeWolf (Whittlesey) Fitz.
He graduated from St Michael's University School in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and attended Phillips Academy and Harvard University. He had resided in Claremont, NH for five years and was a member of the Claremont Lodge of Elks. For the last thirty years, he has lived in Nashua, NH where he worked for Robwood Associates for thirty years, retiring in 1978.
He married Caroline Kirn on July 16, 1938 in Claremont.
He was predeceased by a sister Valerie Burr in 1984.
Surviving is his wife of Nashua, NH; son Walter Scott Fitz III of Avon Lake, OH; one daughter Carol Lynn Landry of Nashua, NH; nine grandchildren; and sister Louise Francis of Manhattan Beach, CA.
Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
