His will lists also lists a daughter named Polly.  Peter was commissioned Capt. of the Company in New Salem parish (South Colchester), May 1747.  He was Deputy for Colchester to the Conn. General Assembly, fifteen sessions; both sessions in 1766, 1767 and 1768; Oct. and Dec. 1775; May 1776, May and Oct. 1782, Oct. 1783, May and Oct. 1784, and May 1787.  He was a Justice of the Peace for Hartford County from 1766 to 1779 inclusive  (Jacobus, D.L.  Rev.
